Getenergy Village

MEOS and Getenergy Ltd have joined forces for 2011! The Getenergy Village event at the heart of the MEOS exhibition will bring universities, colleges, training providers and regional and global E&P companies together to celebrate the lasting value of learning. Based on the successful model Getenergy has used at Offshore Europe in Aberdeen (OE09) and at its own events since 2005, participants will be able to relax over a coffee and learn from exciting sessions around how training, education and skills issues are being tackled across the EP business in the Middle East.

For information on how to exhibit, visit www.getenergyevent.com or email edward@getenergyevent.com

The particular focus of the Learning Arena and the Exchange programme will be the long term value of learning in an economic climate where having the right people with the right skills taking on the right jobs is more critical than ever. There will be meetings throughout the event and keynote ‘star turn’ speakers who will share details of their own personal career development and the role that education and training has played in getting them to the top.

Getenergy Bridge Ltd (the market intelligence and education comparison service) will also be participating, drawing on the market intelligence it has generated on education and training for the oil and gas industry in 24 countries including Iraq, Libya, Saudi Arabia and Malaysia. It will be profiling some of the most interesting examples of education and industry partnerships which have led to real improvements in employee development and local content in oil rich nations. Visit www.getenergybridge.com for more information.

Village Exchange sessions will include university/oil partnerships, innovative training solutions and audiences with leading industry figures – your chance to get up close and personal with some of the EP industry’s leading lights and find out how education and training helped them on their way.
